Annual Events

Harvest Festival

The AWANA team hosts this annual event with all kinds of carnival style family events with lots of candy and prizes. This year the Harvest event will be November 6 during the normal AWANA time after school.

Pistachio Festival Kickball tourament

The annual community event is a lot of fun and our church loves to join in for the kickball tournament! Come and join with us in the fun, no skill required although being able to run is helpful! November 1 at the Community Park off of Newberry Road.

Soup & pie thankful night

Our tradition is to gather on the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving for a time of sharing what God has taught us or blessed us with from the year in review. It is a wonderful time to mutally encourage each other! The sharing includes bringing a huge spread of pies and soups as well. No need to sign up, just show up!

fall work day

Each fall we join together to winterize the property. There is a job for everyone, big and little, old and young. It is a fun way to serve the Lord with a side benefit of getting to know the “family” as we interact in a different way than on Sunday mornings! There are evaporative coolers to shut down, weeds to pull, trees to trim, raking leaves and twigs. The work starts at 8 and ends at noon with a snack break mid-morning.

Monthly Events

Men's breakfast

The first Saturday of each month, men are invited to attend a breakfast and prayer time. Fellowship is the goal and the event is well attended. Come and see!

Communion

The first Sunday of each month, at our morning service we follow the Lord’s pattern of serving communion. The ceremony is for believers who are walking in fellowship with the Lord but church membership is not required.
